Classification Review

The BCL Team will review your WCB Industry Classification to ensure your organization is correctly classified.

Based on overall operations, employers are assigned an industry classification and then assessed the applicable rate for that industry. As there is a wide variance in industry rates and descriptions, classification errors can be very costly. This review will ensure you are paying the lowest rate possible.

Current Claims Management is the proactive approach to providing immediate control over Workers’ Compensation costs. This program manages all aspects of a claim from the date of accident and for claims already in progress. However, the key to effective claims management is to control costs from the onset.

Our Historical Cost Recovery Review will scrutinize claims as far back as four years. In Alberta this is based on claim costs that appear on your annual Employer Premium Rate Statement.

This review ensures no unnecessary costs are assessed against your account and that opportunities for cost recovery are not overlooked. Even if no recoveries are realized, this review will ensure costs are justified…..and it hasn’t cost you anything!
