shifting_to_welnessShifting to Wellness is a classroom based program which provides information for workers to assist them in coping with various aspects of shift work.

There are 12 modules in the program:

  1. Understanding the Background & Looking Ahead to Shifting to Wellness (30 min)
  2. A New Look at Shift work (1 hour)
  3. Understanding Your Circadian Rhythms, Maintaining Alertness, Managing Sleep and Preventing the Impact of Fatigue (1.5 hours)
  4. Managing Change Positively (1 hour)
  5. Managing Stress Positively (1 hour)
  6. Managing Time Positively (1 hour)
  7. Healthy Eating Choices (1 hour)
  8. Following an Active Lifestyle (45 min)
  9. Maintaining Spiritual, Cultural and Gender Awareness as Part of the Workplace Health Perspective (45 min)

10. Understanding the Impact of Shift work on Sexual Activity (30 min)

11. Relationships and Communities (45 min)

12. Understanding the Importance of Tobacco Reduction in the Workplace (30 min)
