Air Quality Sampling is correctly classified as Occupational Hygiene. This service entails sampling and/or monitoring for airborne chemicals and particulates that have the potential to cause adverse health related side effects.
Results obtained can be compared to allowable daily exposure levels, established in the Occupational Health and Safety Code.
BCL follows the strict guidelines established by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) when sampling, monitoring and analyzing chemicals. Through our chemical hazard analysis, we determine which chemicals require testing. Then, through a priority setting assessment, we rank the hazard each chemical poses on the workforce.
